We just wrapped up an amazing leadership summit in California! We were lucky enough to have Sam Kadi, an incredible film director, writer and producer, join us for a fireside chat that hit home. His stories about leadership, risk-taking and creativity left us all feeling inspired.
Listening to Sam Kadi explain the tragedy unfolding in Syria should be required viewing. He takes his audience on an unforgettable journey into the senselessness war on the civilians that has altered life forever in that country.
I deeply appreciated Sam’s commitment to the rigorous process of bringing his idea worth spreading to the TEDx stage. We had an interesting challenge while staging Sam’s talk. Collaborating with him, we created a ring of roses surrounding the red circle, bringing a visual poignancy to his story, which ended up looking amazing in the resulting video.
Sam is indeed someone who is changing the world. His relationship to risk has resulted in completely reframing the narrative on true stories being told. It has been an honor to work with Sam on his TEDx Talk and I look forward to the ripple effect his message will have on our global society.
